Christmas benefit for OneHeart Campus sells over 700 tickets - Newscenter1.tv

RAPID CITY, S.D. — This weekend the Performing Arts Center presented “A Christmas Collection”, a benefit for the OneHeart Campus in honor of the late Ray Hillenbrand.

OneHeart Campus is a project by Rapid City Collective Impact which will be a long term housing place for people struggling in the crisis of poverty. In order to help change the course of their lives, residents will be provided with counseling and resources to better themselves with.

The late Ray Hillenbrand was memorialized before the performance for his involvement in Rapid City Collective Impact and OneHeart.

“We decided to dedicate the program to him because this really was his vision for the way he wanted Rapid City to be and he wanted to be and he really believed that Rapid City could be a more caring community,” said Anna Marie Thatcher, Producer and Director.

Over 700 tickets were sold for the three performances this weekend and a majority of the ticket proceeds will go towards OneHeart. If all goes smoothly OneHeart will be open by the end of 2020.
